Radiation as Music
2014 - Radiation, Music and & Disaster
Radiation live data turned into music through a radiation detector and an Arduino microcontroller. Positioning the listener to rethink data representation, and how we experience and think of historical records and disaster by means of humanizing disaster through music. Additionally, a fixed composition made from radiation levels from government data on the monthly anniversary date of the disaster was arranged through sonification, making a sonic temporal record the disaster.
